A note from Alice
"I never start with a plan — just a colour or a feeling. I build up layers, scrape things back, add marks and see what happens. Each painting really does find its own direction."
Alice is entirely self-taught and has been painting for a few years out of pure love for it. She works from her home in West Sussex, mostly in acrylic but also in watercolour, inks and collage. Colour, texture and the natural world are what keep pulling her back to the canvas.
